Request for Proposal: Gap analysis study in Uganda

FSC Africa is looking for an individual consultant or company to conduct a gap analysis study in Uganda for a smallholder group that aims to acquire FSC group certification in 2018.

The group in question already developed a roadmap for their certification journey, however, neither the group managers nor the members have sufficient knowledge of the existing gaps that the group requires to close to meet the FSC standard requirements and qualify for a group certificate. The gap analysis study shall identify the gaps and recommend suitable actions to be implemented.

FSC Africa invites interested parties, preferably Ugandans, with experience and high level of knowledge in the FSC certification system (Forest Management, Chain of Custody and Auditing) to submit a proposal to undertake the study.

Location of the activity: Uganda

Duration of Contract and Deadline for Submission of End-Product
15 December 2017 to 30 January 2018

Deliverables: A comprehensive report with clear findings and credible recommendations for action.

Expression of interest and proposals must be submitted to fscafrica at fsc point org by 17 November 2017

Applicants are requested to submit a proposal, work plan and budget for the activity.

For any questions or inquiries, please contact Annah Agasha, Email: a.agasha at fsc point org
