On January 9th and 10th, a high-level delegation from the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) visited Dodhia Packaging Kenya Ltd and East Africa Packaging Industries Ltd (EAPI) in Nairobi.

On November 27, 2024, Mail Managers Ltd, the company behind these expertly crafted fishing flies became the first business in Eastern Africa to obtain an FSC Promotional License—a significant milestone in the region’s journey toward responsible sourcing and ethical trade.

FSC Africa Deputy Director, Annah Agasha, attended a workshop on February 26-27, 2025, convened by Uganda's Ministry of Water and Environment in partnership with with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) supported by the European Union (EU).
