The course aims to provide potential certificate holders orcertified companies with an improved understanding of the Forest StewardshipCouncil (FSC) Chain of Custody requirements. The course will cover the following:1. Introduction to FSC2. FSC certification standards and how theyare applied:

  • FSC multi-site standard: FSC STD 40-003
  • FSC chain of custody standard: FSC STD 40-004 (version 3)
  • FSC controlled wood standard: FSC STD 40-005 (version 3-1) and how the latestrisk assessments needto be completed
  • FSC reclaimed material standard: FSC STD 40-007

3. Preparing for certification: Review oftemplates that can be used to:

  • Become certified.
  • Streamline your procedures, if already certified.

Who should attend: Representatives from companies (e.g. Marketing and Procurement) intending to obtain their FSC CoC certification or promote the use of FSC products in-house. CoC representatives from certified companies who wish to be updated on the latest developments regarding FSC chain of custody.[/list]
