The purpose of the event is to introduce a variety of FSC-led solutions to Congo Basin stakeholders that can increase the contribution of forests to sustainable development and enable the preservation of the Congo Basin forest, the world's second largest tropical rainforest.
With some attendees physically present in Gabon and others participating online, it will be a hybrid event. The main language of this side event will be French, although simultaneous interpretation will be available in English.
