She is Forestry SA Webinar: 3 August 2023
You are invited to attend the fourth She Is Forestry SA – Women in Forestry Webinar on Thursday 3rd August from 10h00 (South African Time).
This year’s theme is Celebrating forestry careers and role models and we are excited to reveal this year’s lineup, which includes keynote speaker Vivien McMenamin (Mondi South Africa CEO), guest facilitator Nelly Ndlovu (Mondi Zimele CEO and FSCC Chair of Board), guest speakers Itumeleng Langeni (MTO Group Chief Stakeholder Relations Officer) and Zimbili Sibiya (Postgraduate Student). As well as our incredible panel of role models: Noxolo Ndlovu (NCT Forestry), Nonkululeko Ntinga (Mondi South Africa), Yoliswa Phiri (Sappi South Africa) and Zinhle Mbuyazi (WSB Transport).
We will also be hosting the annual She Is Forestry SA Awards and have added two brand new categories, celebrating female small-scale growers and women involved in forestry research and science. This year we will also be showcasing the first in a series short videos aimed at inspiring and encouraging future generations of women and girls to see forestry as a rewarding and exciting career option.
