Cameroon
The FSC national forest stewardship standard (NFSS) for forest certification in Cameroon has been fully approved by FSC. This approval was made after the Policy and Performance office closed the minor improvement approval conditions given by the FSC Policy and Standards Committee (PSC) that were adequately addressed by the FSC Standard Development Group in Cameroon. This standard will be published next month on the FSC International website.
Republic of Congo
The FSC national standard for forest certification in the Republic of Congo will be fully approved and published by FSC before the end of the third quarter of 2020. This shall happen after the Policy and Standards Office shall close the minor improvement approval conditions of the FSC Policy and Standards Committee that have been addressed and re-submitted by the FSC Standard Development Group in the Republic of Congo.
Gabon
The FSC national standard for forest certification in Gabon was conditionally approved by the FSC Policy and Standards Committee (PSC) at its meeting in May 2020. The minor improvement approval conditions given by the PSC were addressed by the FSC Standard Development Group (SDG) of Gabon at its meeting on July 10, 2020. The fully approved FSC standard will be published before the end of the third quarter of 2020 after the closure of the addressed minor approval conditions by the FSC Policy and Standards Office.
