Africa needs its forests to address its ever-growing water crisis.

As the saying goes in Uganda, 'you know the usefulness of a well when it dries up.' Africa's wells are drying up, and the water crisis is predicted to become a catastrophe by 2025.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Director General visits Gabon

Kim Carstensen, Director General of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), will arrive in Libreville on Tuesday 28 February for a four-day working visit. He will lead the FSC participation in the One Forest Summit, hosted by H.E. Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the Republic of Gabon, and H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic of France. It will take place in Libreville, Gabon, from 1 to 2 March 2023.
