The Standards Development Group (SDG) in Cameroon has produced the second draft of the revised version of the Forest Stewardship Standard (FSS) for the certification of forests and non-timber forest products in Cameroon.

On Wednesday 30th August at 8.30am in the conference room of the Mikhael's Hotel in Brazzaville, FSC will launch the "Implementation of Free, Prior and Informed Consent in the Republic of Congo" project.

On 6-7 September, FSC will hold its annual Africa membership meeting in Entebbe, Uganda. The Africa membership meeting is an annual engagement opportunity for members to come together and discuss burning issues related to responsible forest management.
