FSC and EUDR

The European Union Deforestation-free Regulation (EUDR) is the new EU initiative to limit deforestation and degradation caused by forestry and agricultural activities all over the world. Some changes to the FSC system will need to be made to fully align with EUDR requirements. Although some of these will be part of an optional Regulatory Module, some changes to the existing FSC system will also be needed. We encourage stakeholders to participate in the current consultation between 1 February and 1 March 2024.
