Under the leadership of Charles Msonge, the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Eastern Africa Certification Officer, forest sector partners, including the Tanzania Tree Growers Association Union (TTGAU) and the New Forest Company, gathered at Kilolo District, Tanzania, on 27–28 February to develop a roadmap for smallholder certification in the Southern highlands of the country.

To promote responsible forestry practices, the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Senior Manager, Labour Affairs, Paul Opanga, led an information-sharing session on February 15th in Nairobi, Kenya.
