From 9-11 June 2016, FSC Africa staff members attended the 4th bi-annual WoodEx exhibition, where we displayed a variety of FSC certified products ranging from packaging to wooden flooring, shutters and even lawn dressing.

A new book by conservationist and author Meindert Brouwer provides an interesting first-hand account of the realities of FSC certification in the Congo Basin as seen through the eyes of Congolese workers. “Central African Forests Forever” is Brouwer’s third book and covers themes ranging from forests to climate change and the empowerment of women.
We sat down with him to talk about his journey as an author and what led to his latest work.
